It’s hard to evaluate the location. It is half a block from the station, and you might like that. I did not like the shabbiness of the neighborhood, though the barbershop next to the hotel gave me a great haircut. It is only three or four blocks to Quai Mont Blanc, the elegant view of the river and the Jet d’eau from the majestic row of five-star hotels. Have a drink on the terrace of one of them and spend your time gazing. It is a walk more than twice as long and up a fierce succession of stairs to get to the Old City, which is nice, but not so quaint or memorable as that of Basel or Zurich. The price is good —for Geneva: $165. a night for a single or small double with refrigerator. The day manager was handy; problems solved and things fixed as soon as reported. The hot water was abundant and fast, the Wi-Fi perfectly adequate. The whole city is smaller than you might expect. The good restaurants are not around the hotel, but on the quai, expensive and excellent, or up in the Old City with more character and less perfection for fewer francs.

Hotel location was excellent train station just opposite lots of eateries and cafes minutes away , rooms were big and could accommodate 2 large suitcases easily. We had everything we needed tea, coffee and hot drinks complimentary available 247 in the lobby in addition to cold still and various levels of sparkling water( must be a Swiss thing???) hairdryer, iron, kettle espresso machine etc all in room. We were also sent Swiss transport cards so we had access to trains, boats, buses etc…. This made it all the more easy to get out and about. Staff were really helpful and friendly I didn’t catch any names , resolved any issues we had very quickly. I would stay here again without a doubt. Totally recommend 👍🏽

Great location, 6 minute walk from the train station. 7 minute walk to the lake which is stunning. A 20 minute walk to the old quarter of the city. There is a tram at the station which goes to the International area, which includes the UN. Also a tram to CERN, for those interested in physics. The tour at CERN is free and is very interesting. Coffee machine in the common area; which was a plus for me.

The location of this hotel is great! We were traveling by public transportation and it is located on a few blocks from both the train station and the bus station. We also needed to leave luggage and the hotel (as we were returning to the same hotel after traveling elsewhere for a couple of weeks). They were very helpful and securing stored our suitcase for the 2 week period.

I liked the cleanliness of the room, the heating in the rooms, the cleanliness of the bathroom, the wonderful treatment of the reception staff, the services provided by public transportation cards, the mini cafe at the reception, and the location of the hotel next to the restaurant Saj Eat &La Veranda, Restaurant Genève And a cafe Boréal Coffee Shop.
